CBI and ED have got many big clues in the matter of liquor excise policy. The heat of the ongoing investigation in this matter has now started reaching the leaders of Punjab. According to sources, many big leaders associated with Punjab Aam Aadmi Party have come on the radar of both the big investigative agencies. As soon as concrete evidence is received, some more arrests are also expected. However, before this last year, ED has raided some big officials of Punjab. The leaders of Punjab have demanded from the CBI to extend the investigation of Delhi Excise Policy to Punjab. Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. Earlier, he was arrested by the CBI.
Politics is hot after the arrest of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. Especially in the politics of Delhi and Punjab, there were already speculations about the arrest of big leaders of Aam Aadmi Party. If sources related to investigative agencies are to be believed, many big people are on target in Delhi Excise Policy and Punjab’s Excise Policy. When the statements of the arrested people were scrutinized along with the call details of big leaders of other states including some of the big leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, big revelations came to light. Sources associated with the agency say that the manner in which the people arrested in the Delhi Excise Policy are being interrogated continuously, many links seem to be connecting with each other. Although the people involved in the connecting links will be arrested or they will be summoned for questioning, the sources associated with the investigating agencies refused to say anything at the moment.

Sources associated with the investigating agency say that the people already detained in this case have given a written statement in front of the magistrate. According to those statements, big leaders of Delhi and Punjab are coming in the grip of Delhi Excise Policy. Sources are also telling that the arrest of Manish Sisodia in this case is currently being considered as the first major arrest. According to sources, the manner in which the ED is continuously interrogating Manish Sisodia in the jail, the investigating agencies are expected to get something big. However, senior officials are still avoiding saying anything about what will be the next action in this matter. But sources associated with the agency probing the matter say that very soon there could be more major arrests in the matter. There may also be some leaders associated with Punjab in this.
KCR’s daughter summoned
In this case, the Enforcement Directorate has sent summons to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and BRS MLC Kavitha. ED has called Kavita for questioning in the case related to Delhi liquor scam. Sources associated with the investigating agencies say that as the links of suspicion continue to be added in this whole matter, the concerned people will continue to be called for investigation. Sources associated with the investigative agencies say that not only Punjab, Delhi and Telangana, but leaders and big businessmen are also coming under its spell. Sources say that on the basis of the revelations made in the money transaction, not only the case seems to be getting bigger but the involvement of many influential people is also visible in it.

Other big leaders including BJP have also attacked the changes to be made on the lines of Delhi Excise Policy in Punjab. Former Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia demanded that the CBI probe into the Delhi Excise Policy scam should be done in Punjab as well. He alleges that Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has committed corruption in the matter of liquor policy. Punjab BJP and Akali Dal leaders say that the Aam Aadmi Party government here immediately after Sisodia’s arrest withdrew the online form of the liquor policy and later canceled it. In Punjab too, the opposition party is constantly attacking the Aam Aadmi Party regarding the excise policy.
Will Raghav Chadha be arrested?
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had expressed the possibility of arrest of his leaders in September itself. In a tweet on September 30, he also mentioned the arrest of Raghav Chadha, the Rajya Sabha MP of the Aam Aadmi Party and the person who won the Aam Aadmi Party a big victory in Punjab. Referring to this in his tweet, he said that in which case Chadha would be arrested and what would be the charges, nothing is known about it. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had already predicted the arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in a TV channel program on Sunday.
